Sno Valley

The Sno Valley runs southeast off the Georgian Military Hwy from Achkhoti, 4km south of Kazbegi. The small village of Juta at 2150m, an outpost of Khevsur people from over the mountains to the east, is about 15km up the mostly unpaved valley road, and is a starting point for some great hikes. A taxi from Kazbegi to Juta costs about 80 EUR for a one-way or return trip.
