During jeep tour Georgia we will see high mountains and exiting passes, clean lakes and fast rivers, waterfalls, national parks, wildlife, a combination of different climates, natural resources, a diversity of flora and fauna, and beautiful gorges and valleys.

Overnight in Tbilisi
After breakfast travel towards Javakheti uplands. En route lunch at Poka nunnery, which is known with production of rare cheeses, honey & wine. All products come from organic farms & we will have opportunity to taste special food. During driving you will stop for views of volcano landscapes and Paravani & Sagamo lakes. The highlight of the day is the 2nd century B.C. Khertvisi castle, once destroyed by Alexander the Great and after 10th century Sapara Monastery in the forest near the Akhaltsikhe city. The last destination will be Akhaltsikhe where we can have short exploration of historical Rabati Fortress.

After enjoying breakfast, travel to Zekari Pass through the Abastumani. Optional: In the evening visit Abastumani, small town nestled in the forested area. Here we will have opportunity to explore observatory & watch night sky through telescopes. Observatory tour will be guided with professional astronomer. The mixture of diverse vegetation, nice landscapes, summer pastures and off road combines real adventure for travelers.
We will also pass through Sairme resort known with its mineral waters, Kutaisi the second biggest city in Georgia and arrive in Tskaltubo, our main destination for today.

After breakfast travel to Upper Svaneti via Samegrelo Region. On the way stop at the city Zugdidi, enjoy lunch, you may visit Zugdidi Dadiani Lord Palace.
The total way to Mestia takes about 5 hours. After Zugdidi city our way follows up to river Enguri and at some point you will be able to see amazing water reservoir on this river, it is largest in a country. Through the amazing river gorge and high mountains we will arrive at the main town of the region Svaneti- Mestia. It has always been regarded a chief community of Upper Svaneti province, formerly known as Seti. Despite its small size, the town was an important centre of Georgian culture for centuries and contains a number of medieval monuments - churches and forts.

Today we will explore rich heritage of Svaneti. After breakfast we will drive to Ushguli community, which is considered as the highest inhabited in Europe. Ushguli villages: Jibiani, Chvibiani, Murkmeli, Chajeshi contain buildings that are part of the UNESCO Heritage site with the background of mount Shkhara, the highest summit in Georgia. We will reach altitude of 2,200 meters above sea level (7,910 ft). After the sites of Ushguli we have time to drive to Shkhara Glacier, after about 2km and we will be able to see Skhara well, we can walk a little and after back to Mestia.
Overnight in Mestia
After breakfast, we will visit historic-ethnographic museum in Mestia, walk around to see old dwelling houses & towers and continue our trip to Mazeri. Mazeri is the most famous village in Becho Community, Upper Svaneti. It is situated about 20 km from Mestia in an amazing valley of Dolra river, 1600 meters above sea, and surrounded by wide green meadows and snow-capped mountain peaks. Mazeri now is the base for several most beautiful Svaneti trekking routes.
Once upon a time this land was a possession of the princes Dadeshkeliani, there was a 6-storey tower that the owners blew up in 1921. The ruins can still be found near the village.
Tourism in Svaneti probably began to develop from this village. Here, thrugh Becho pass, many tourists and climbers arrived, as this pass is the most convenient for the transition from Russia to Svaneti.
From the Caucasus mountain area we will travel to Subtropical lands of Ajara region. The coastal location and sub-tropical climate make Batumi a popular city for vacationers across the Caucasus. It's the party capital of the region with a night life to match which increasingly includes big name international DJs on the beach-front clubs.
Late afternoon we will have an opportunity to swim and relax before dinner.
Dinner will be special, at one of the coastal restaurants with views over the Black Sea.
Overnight in Batumi
Today we will travel to Tbilisi via Goderdzi Pass, located in two hour drive from Batumi. At an elevation of 2000 m, the mountains are snow-covered from November to April, while the gently rolling topography of the valley floor offers plentiful development zones. The wilderness setting offers the visitor unique experiences, fresh-air and world-class scenery. We will have picnic lunch on route and around 6 pm return to Tbilisi.
