Gudauri Ski Resort Winter Package (5 Days)

During the package, you will enjoy beautiful views of the ancient capital Mtskheta, Ananuri complex (17th century), and Gudauri - one of the largest and most modern ski resorts in Georgia with a developed infrastructure that includes the most significant level drop in Georgia and unlimited opportunities for freeriding and backcountry skiing (ski-touring). Gudauri Resort is the highest alpine settlement along the Georgian Military Road, also known by the ancient name “Sky Ravine Road.” It is one of the five most elevated permanent settlements in Europe. Housing here is situated at 2000-2750 meters above sea level. Gudauri attracts mountain lovers from around the world. After leaving Gudauri, you will visit Stepantsminda (Kazbegi) and the most beautiful place, Gergeti Trinity Church under Mount Kazbegi; drive back to Tbilisi, but on your way, you will see one of the historical wine cellars and taste Georgian traditional wines.

Day 1

Arrival

Arrive at Tbilisi airport, meet a driver and transfer to Gudauri.

Day 2

Free day in Gudauri ski resort

Enjoy hotel breakfast and ready for winter adventure at the best ski resort of Georgia. Gudauri is ready for the active winter season from 10 December officially and it will offer one of the best and high ski trials, perfect for professionals as well as for beginners, different ski lifts will take you to stunning peaks. Skiing, snowboarding, paragliding, snowmobiling are the main activities to try in Gudauri resort.

Day 3

Free day in Gudauri ski resort

Enjoy hotel breakfast and ready for winter adventure besides skiing, snowboarding, you can enjoy paragliding, snowmobiling heliskiing freeride etc. which are high demand in Gudauri resort.

You can walk or drive around and just look on the Caucasus mountians! The most popular usage of helicopter in Gudauri is of course heli-skiing or heli-boarding, for what the helicopter will take you up to the untouched snow and you can ski down.

Day 4

Kazbegi – Winery visit - Tbilisi

Breakfast in hotel and we will go to Kazbegi tour. We will pass the Jvari pass (2 395m) and arrive at Kazbegi town, here we drive to Trinity Church to discover one of the best picturesque views of Caucasus Mountains with amazing Mount Kazbegi (5054m), view on the town and beautiful high mountain landscape. Drive back to Tbilisi. On the way we will have a wine degustation. You can find here the oldest item of the Georgian cultural heritage – Thadeoz Guramishvili’s wine cellar, as for Georgian “Marani”. Visitors are also able to get introduced to the Georgian culture and taste some delicious Georgian wines. This sight of Guramishvilis and St. Ilia the Righteous is one of the most essential and magnificent touristic attractions in Georgia. Finish the tour and back to Tbilisi.
