Why to visit The Club?  

The Club is a hard place to find if you're walking around looking for a place to eat. With small sign signaling its entrance, The Club sits in a spacious basement near the Opera theater. 

It's much more than just a restaurant; the spot has its own boutique full of local craftsmen’s and artists' artwork, a separate tea lounge, private event hall, and, finally, a dining space with frequent small live performances. The restaurant's interior can best be described as urban chic, decorated with white table clothes and stylish wine glasses. 

The food here strays from traditional Armenian cuisine, making it a nice place to try for those who are looking for something different. The chef, Anahit Sargisian, crafts the menu around Western Armenian dishes with a French touch. Most of the dishes stand out for their artful presentation on wooden blocks and their avant-garde configurations. I'm looking at you, playful cheese spread with tiny fried lavash cones.
