Gudauri to Kazbegi Day Tour

From Gudauri you can easily get to Stepantsminda (Kazbegi). Kazbegi is the pearl of Georgia, which has recently become very popular because of its untouched beauty. With this tour, you will visit all the must-see sights in the Kazbegi Region.

In the north-west direction, you will see the mountain of Gergeti with stunning Trinity Church. You can drive or walk till the church, the total length of way 3-4 km. From Gergeti you will be able to see clearly the second highest peak of Georgia “Mkinvartsveri” 5 047m.  This place is very special and magnificent because of the breathtaking view around the Caucasus Mountains. In 14th century Trinity Church was built here,  which is still active and monks live here. The elevation of the place is 1 200m. The magic of the Caucasus mountains, gorgeous panorama, best in any season.

After that we will explore the Dariali Gorge which is called the Gate of the Caucasus. During this tour we will visit all the most important places of the Gorge, and we will stop at several viewpoints from which you will be able to take fantastic pictures (the gorge is 1000 meters deep). The last point of our trip will be a complex of monasteries, which is located at the very border with Russia. Then, we will return to Gudauri.
